I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama, but currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia. I received my bachelors degree in marketing from Hampton University and my masters degree in clinical mental health and counseling from Argosy University. I am also a graduate of the Sexual Health Certificate Program from the University of Michigan.

Fifteen years ago, the birth of my second daughter and the lack of enthusiasm in my marketing and finance career, propelled me to become a stay-at-home mom. My role as a wife and mother enlightened me and strengthened my commitment to help others. I feverishly volunteered in my community and acquired first-hand knowledge of the lack of sex-positive images and education. Historically, society manipulates sexuality to appease our fears and uncertainties about sex, often resulting in miscues among people and frustration in the bedroom. This reality affects every aspect of our existence and over the past decade, I have worked to understand and correct misplaced beliefs about human sexuality. Eventually, I decided to couple my experiential learning with academic tenacity and pursue sex therapy. This has allowed me a comprehensive perspective on human sexuality, and I intend to utilize several mediums to reaffirm the beauty of sex.
